Teresa Soanes (GAICD)
Teresa has over 30 years in the resources industry starting from site-based role at the Telfer Goldmine, leading to twelve years at Rio Tinto and roles at WesTrac, Sandvik Mining and Construction, Improvement Resources, and latterly MinAnalytical.
Twice a finalist for the Telstra Businesswoman Awards (2015 and 2016) Teresa has a proven track record in business management and process optimisation. Teresa’s has a wide range of business experience from Supply Chain, HR, Information Systems and Technology, OEM Services and Facilities Management. Teresa has an MBA from Curtin University, a Graduate of the AICD, Six Sigma Black Belt, and is a NLP qualified practitioner.
Business Development Manager
Gary has 38 years of experience in commercial analytical laboratories. He is a well-known figure in the exploration industry, with experience in most areas of a laboratory including sample preparation, fire assay, wet lab and AAS.

He is a well-known figure in the exploration industry, with experience in most areas of a laboratory including sample preparation, fire assay, wet lab and AAS. He has held senior management roles focusing on providing client support and liaison, building up an understanding of the exploration industry and client requirements. He also project managed the set-up and commissioning of facilities within Australia.
In late 2010, Gary joined up with Perenti (formerly Ausdrill Group) to establish MinAnalytical in Canning Vale and feeder preparation facilities in Ghana and Burkina Faso in West Africa. He developed the concept of moving the flow of samples from rig to assay. Gary was quick to see the potential of PhotonAssay technology and has been a key driver in its commercialisation, managing the rollout of the first two units in Canning Vale and Kalgoorlie.
Joining MinAnalytical in 2011, John McGrath is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, credited with setting up all financial and administrative support systems and processes used at MinAnalytical today. John’s global portfolio of experience spans over 30 years, crossing from Aerospace and Accounting to Laboratories.
John is an Australian CPA and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree, and is a lifelong student interested in exploring various areas of interest, from business to science, including the Santa Fe Institute course on ‘Introduction to Complexity’.
Anthony has been working in mining and laboratory environments since 2005. Prior to joining MinAnalytical, he worked in various mining laboratories across a diverse commodity range.

Devin joined MinAnalytical in 2012, starting in the sample preparation department, working up to the position of Production Manager.

gaining a diploma in Laboratory Technology and knowledge used to help develop
the company’s procedures, processes and techniques. Prior to becoming
Production Manager, Devin worked as the production coordinator, overseeing the
processing of samples through the entire facility.

Wayne is committed to providing a safe working environment that encourages a culture focused on a supportive and collaborative work practices, to keep all people safe across MinAnalytical’s sites (living the Perenti Principle ‘No shortcuts’).
As HSE advisor at MinAnalytical, Wayne’s role is to investigate all incidents and concerns, carry out risk assessments, and site inspections. He is committed to ensuring that action is swiftly undertaken to eliminate hazards, and continuously reviews the current residual risk of a task causing injury, damage to plant and equipment, and environment is protected.
