Headquartered in Australia, Perenti has operations and offices in 13 countries across four continents, employs around 8,000 mining professionals and is creating enduring value and certainty for clients on some of the world’s largest mining projects.The position:We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Training Advisor to join our ISG team. This successful candidate can expect to coordinate the day-to-day operations of training for the Investments division at Perenti Group and will be primarily responsible for the identifying training needs, developing training packages, evaluating, and monitoring training compliance and providing support to the HSE Manager whilst working closely with the Perenti Mining ISG training team.Role responsibilities:Identifying Training Needs: Engage with departments to develop competency of role requirements, and facilitate gap analysis against existing competencies and training programsDesign and Plan Training and Assessment: Design new training programs and packages and modify and improve existing training and assessment programs to meet the identified legislative and business requirements.Conducting Training and Assessment: Inducting new staff into the business, facilitating and coordinating HSE and skills development training programs by internal and external resources to ensure business and legislative requirements are met.Evaluate Training and Assessment: Review feedback received from training programs and facilitate updates to meet the changing needs of the business.Maintain accurate training records in the Learning Management System, including reporting on training compliancePerforming other duties as directed and required.Key requirements:Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40110)Certificate IV Work Health and SafetyExperience in the development and facilitation of training and assessments, ensuring the training is time effective and learning outcomes are achieved and competencies maintainedKnowledge of relevant work health and safety legislation, standards and training requirements which are referenced within the operator training program.Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the mining, heavy mobile equipment industry or related sectors highly regarded.High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.What We Offer:Perenti Group promotes a collaborative culture.
