Minor Works Lead

We are looking for people who wear their high vis on the inside.  About the Role  As the Minor Works Lead, you will report to the Group Manager Technology - Delivery at our Pier Street office to support the business in the coordination and management of the risk, quality and progress of Group Technology Minor Works initiatives to standards ensuring that these are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope. The primary objectives of the Minor Works Lead are to:Provide support to Business Engagement and Planning and Architecture to assess business and technical impacts, scope, plan, resource availability and business benefitsEnsure that the delivery of minor works is to the appropriate levels of quality, is on time and within budget and in accordance with governance arrangementsEnsure minor works’ outcomes meet the defined business requirements and are accepted by the business into ProductionEnsure handover to Group Technology Operations is managed effectively as per handover requirements  Benefits Located close to public transport in great central location  Career support and progression within a global mining services company Employee discounts and perks on insurance, entertainment, technology, travel and retail stores Key Requirements 5+ years of experience in managing technology projects of varying sizes within a structured IT project management governance frameworkExcellent knowledge of project budgeting and resource allocation proceduresExperienced in fast-paced, complex, dynamic and multicultural business environment, utilising your leadership, motivation, problem solving and management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills, particularly relevant in translating technical information to non-technical peers and stakeholdersProven experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a large organisation, including both internal and external stakeholdersThorough understanding of, or industry qualification in, Project Management Methodology and/or Framework (i.e. P3O / PRINCE2 / PMBOK / Agile) The Perenti Group of companies will comply with all applicable government directives or Public Health Orders.  Should a government directive or Public Health Order mandate specific vaccinations for our people, we will require employees to comply with these requirements.  This may involve employees providing proof of vaccination as a condition of employment.
