Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and direction in security governance, risk management, policy and planning.The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure the Perenti Group’s IT security strategic objectives are achieved and that information resources, particularly those critical to the functioning of Perenti Group and all related ISG’s are secured effectively from threats while enabling the business to operate effectively.Key Responsibilities of the Information Security Manager will include:Own Perenti's Information Security Management FrameworkBe responsible for Perenti Group’s security standards and best practices for the enterprise.Advise the broad stakeholder community within Perenti to ensure awareness and understanding of security protocols and practices to enable effective decision making.Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of the enterprises cyber-security strategy and plan.Coordinate the management of regular cyber security related audits on behalf of the Perenti Group.Oversee and manage the co-ordination of Perenti's security governance modelTrack, report, communicate and manage cyber security risks within Perenti Group.Manage and maintain the processes and functional requirements of vulnerability management within Perenti Group and assist staff members with complex security incidents or requests.Develop and maintain security architecture artefacts including standards, guidelines, and blueprints.Provide project security inputs to ensure effective outcomes when introducing new technologies across the enterprise, aligning to appropriate governance models.Manage internal team priorities, balancing key initiatives, ad hoc work requests, and ensure continuing day to day support across group technology operations.Lead and manage a team, developing a culture that assists Perenti Group to adopt sound information security and information security risk practices.Build and maintain effective working relationships across the group.Drive innovation and operational excellence through partnership with internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of new and evolving technologiesExperience/Qualifications:Experience in managing a team of staff across multiple time zones.Considerable knowledge and experience in managing, maintaining and governing ICT security within a large, diverse organisation.Possession of relevant industry or tertiary qualifications such as a degree and CISSP is a must.Experience in vulnerability management tools and security testing tools/frameworksExperience in working with technologies such as Office 365, Azure, AWS, Cisco Switching and Routing, Palo Alto Firewalls and a SIEM such as Azure Sentinel.Experience working within an IT security governance model and framework.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of people at all levels using highly honed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.Well-developed problem solving, time management, workload prioritisation and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively and with transparency.Ability to prioritise work and tasks within a team.As a Company, we promote a collaborative culture at Perenti.
